Pennywhistle Lessons Group & Individual With more than 25 years experience as a professional musician on Irish flute, silver flute and the pennywhistle, Beth has taught Kindermusik for the last 11 years in her own studio, and given private lessons in flute and whistle for the last 15 years. She's available to teach privately, with homeschooling groups and afterschool programs. The pennywhistle is a relatively easy instrument to learn and she'll start with the basic fundamental techniques of fingering, scales, tempo, octaves and jump right in teaching several simple tunes. The genres of music explored and learned consist mainly of Irish, Scottish and other folk traditions. (For ages 7 & up) Private Lessons available Monday - Thursday: 30 min. $25/student; 45 min. $35/student; 60 min. $45/student Group Lessons (2 - 6 students) available Monday - Thursday : 30 min. $10/student; 45 min. $15/student; 60 min. $20/student
